Rolf Schramm

A trained electronics specialist for power systems and graduate engineer for Electrical Engineering (FH), Schramm joined the company in 2001. Since 2008, he is Managing Director of Schulz Engineering GmbH.

After his training as an electrician and subsequently as a power electronics technician from 1980 to 1984, Rolf Schramm initially gathered experience in the area of automation technology (special machines, forming and MIG/MAG welding systems). After further education so he could join a college of higher education, he studied Electrical Engineering, specializing in information processing and successfully concluded his course of study in 1992 as a graduate engineer (FH) in Electrical Engineering. He was then initially active in the automation technology of a plant construction firm and was increasingly responsible for the complete technical and organizational support of world-scale plants. In 1997, Rolf Schramm became a group leader for the project planning of SPS and robot controls at a line builder. As a department manager in an engineering firm for planning and process simulation, his professional focus shifted to the area of engineering for systems in the automotive sector. From 2001, Rolf Schramm was in charge of the process simulation and planning departments at Schulz Engineering and was responsible for the expansion of the department around the automation technology area with a focus on robot control. In 2006, Schulz Engineering granted him the commercial power of attorney, and in 2008 he was appointed as Managing Director.
